It's not just OK to discuss topics related to skin colour but it is now more important than ever that we come together to discuss them. It will not always be pretty but it is worth it!

A youth-friendly primer on conscious and unconscious bias, the evolution of the word "racism" and what "systemic" really means

An awareness that we all have "skin in the game" of identity politics figuratively and quite literally

A call to and practical steps for transforming one's self from being a "non-racist" to an "anti-racist"

A word of relief and encouragement with strategies to tackle stress and anxiety during and after a pandemic 


The scientific connection between social media, empathy and the health benefits of face to face interaction


Explore how the term "friendship" has been downgraded with technological and social media advances

Doing things "like a girl" is a good thing. This presentation is a call to action for girls to hold their space, use their voice, and challenge the status quo.

LEARNING OUTCOMES INCLUDE:

Hear power profiles of women and girls around the world who have taken their place as leaders and heroes in their communities and be inspired to do the same


How to identify the influencers in our lives and establish boundaries that put us in control


A deep dive into increasing our mental wellness and uncovering the truth about ourselves

MAN UP:

BEING A REAL MAN IN UNREAL TIMES

TARGET AUDIENCE : Middle/High School / Youth Groups / Camps and Retreats / Parents / Professionals / Educators

A no-joke conversation about the reality of the male influence on culture, the opportunity to use that influence for good, and practical tools to do it solo or with a squad.

LEARNING OUTCOMES INCLUDE:

Building an awareness of how toxic masculinity impacts behaviour and shapes culture

A call for each participant to assess and own the impact of their decisions from moment to moment 

Practical ways that male influence can foster gender equality and a safer school community
